Light that moves with your event

Most lighting companies set it and forget it. We don’t. A dedicated lighting technician stays on-site throughout your event, manually transitioning scenes from ceremony white to cocktail hour warmth to full reception color as each moment unfolds.

We design your lighting layout in advance based on your venue, color palette, and event timeline. When our crew arrives ahead of your event, every fixture is positioned with intention, not just pointed at a wall.

Our Process

From lighting design to live operation

01
Venue & palette review

We review your venue’s floor plan, ceiling height, existing house lighting, and architectural features, then align your lighting palette to your florals, linens, and overall wedding design.

02
Lighting layout design

We plan every fixture position in advance, from uplights and moving heads to pin spots, gobos, and effects. Each light has a specific purpose and placement before we ever arrive on-site.

03
Load-in & scene build

Our crew arrives ahead of your event start time. Every fixture is patched into the DMX console and programmed scene by scene, then walked and confirmed before guests arrive.

04
Live operation all night

Our lighting technician operates the console from doors-open to last song. Every transition is called and executed live by an operator, from softening for dinner to spotlighting speeches and opening to full color for the dance floor.

Lighting production FAQ

Looking for wedding lighting production in SoCal? Start here. We’ve answered some of the most common questions about lighting design, installation, and event-day support.

Ask Us Anything
How do you match the lighting color to our wedding palette?
We schedule a pre-event color consultation where you share your florals, linens, and design direction. We dial in the exact RGBW mix on our fixtures and send you a color reference for approval before the event.
Will your uplighting interfere with our venue’s existing house lights?
We coordinate with your venue’s event manager or AV contact ahead of time. House lights are typically dimmed or switched off in areas where we’re operating, and we test the balance during setup before guests arrive to confirm everything works together cleanly.
Do you leave the lights running on a preset loop, or is someone operating them live?
A lighting technician operates the console all night, from the moment doors open to the final song. Every scene change is called live. We do not use timers, automated loops, or pre-programmed sequences that can’t respond to the room.
Are your uplights truly wireless, or do cables run along the floor?
Our uplights are 100% battery-powered and wireless, keeping the room free of power cables, DMX cables, and floor tape. This is especially important at historic venues, estate properties, and ballrooms with strict rules around cable management and floor access.
Can you handle outdoor setups for garden ceremonies or rooftop receptions?
Yes. We carry outdoor-rated fixtures built for open-air environments, including garden ceremonies, rooftop receptions, and tented events throughout SoCal. Outdoor and indoor setups are designed separately since ambient light conditions, fixture placement, and power access differ significantly between the two.
Is lighting production priced separately from DJ and sound services?
Lighting is quoted as a separate service, though the majority of our clients book it alongside DJ and sound. When the full production team is under one roof, the lighting technician and DJ communicate in real time so the room’s look and energy shift together.

Set the mood. Own the room.
