We schedule a call to understand your preferences, from genres, artists, and eras to cultural expectations and the energy you want for each phase of the event.

Set planning

We build a structured arc from your approved song list: cocktail hour mood, dinner ambiance, reception energy builds, and peak-hour programming.

MC preparation

We review the full timeline with you and your coordinator, confirm name pronunciations, toast order, and all announcements.

Can I submit a full song list in advance?

Yes, and we encourage it. We use your must-play and do-not-play lists as a foundation, then build the set around them based on crowd energy on the night.

Do you do the MC yourself or is it a separate person?

For most events, our DJ also serves as MC. For larger events or events that require continuous bilingual announcements, we can bring a dedicated MC so neither role is compromised. Ask us about your specific event.

How do you handle multicultural events with guests who have different music tastes?

This is our specialty. We’re experienced at blending Persian, Arabic, South Asian, and Western music in a way that feels intentional. We read the room and shift between worlds seamlessly throughout the night.

Do you take requests on the night?

We take a structured approach to requests, honoring what fits the energy of the moment while staying focused on the overall energy of the room.

Is the DJ service separate from sound production?

Professional sound production is always included with our DJ package. A DJ without proper sound is just someone with a laptop. The two are inseparable in every Royaal package.

Can you work alongside a live band or musicians?

Yes, we do this regularly. We coordinate with live musicians on transition moments so there’s no dead air between a violin set and DJ music, or between a live drummer and a drop. It’s one cohesive performance.
