Designed for a smooth setup

A wedding dance floor needs to handle the heat, hold up through a full night of dancing, and sit cleanly against the venue’s existing surface without scratching or shifting.

We handle the full installation before guests arrive and complete teardown after the event ends. Every booking includes professional delivery, a non-slip protective underlay, beveled edge ramps on all perimeters, and full coordination with your venue team and decorator so the floor is placed and ready before décor is set around it.

Full Delivery, Installation & Removal
Our crew delivers, assembles, and removes the complete floor. No tools left behind and no disruption to your event timeline or the venue’s setup.
Standard
Non-Slip Protective Underlay
A surface-safe underlay is installed beneath every floor to protect the venue’s existing surface and prevent any tile movement under load during the event.
Standard
Beveled Edge Ramp Surround
All perimeter edges are finished with a tapered ramp strip that eliminates the step-up gap between the floor surface and the venue ground. Clean-looking and a genuine safety requirement for all guests.
Standard
Venue Floor Plan Review
We review your venue’s floor plan ahead of the event to confirm sizing, surface compatibility, power routing for LED floors, and optimal placement relative to the DJ setup, stage, and guest tables.
Standard
Decorator & Venue Coordination
We schedule installation timing directly with your florist, decorator, and venue coordinator so the floor is locked in before floral arrangements, furniture, and lighting are set around its perimeter.
Standard
Custom Sizing in 2-Foot Increments
Floors are built from interlocking 2×2 ft panels, allowing any square or rectangular configuration from 12×12 up to 20×20 ft. Non-standard dimensions and L-shaped layouts available on request.
Standard
Custom Pattern or Two-Tone Finish
Black-and-white checkerboard, herringbone, or mixed-tone wood panel configurations for couples who want the floor to be a deliberate visual statement.
Signature+
Gobo Monogram Projection on Floor
A custom gobo projection of your monogram, initials, or pattern cast directly onto the dance floor surface. No decal, no adhesive residue, and fully repositionable throughout the night.
Signature+
LED Starlit Floor Upgrade
Thousands of embedded LED points beneath frosted acrylic panels, programmable to hold a static glow or pulse to the music. The most dramatic floor option available for SoCal weddings.
Premium+
Dry-Ice Fog Effect
Low-lying floor fog that rolls across the dance surface, most often used for first dances and grand entrances. Uses a dry-ice fogger that stays below knee height and does not trigger standard venue smoke detectors.

Our Process

From floor plan to teardown

01
Venue & surface review

We review the venue floor plan, identify the existing surface material, confirm load-in access, and agree on floor placement with your decorator and venue coordinator before the event date.

02
Size & finish selection

We recommend a floor size based on your guest count and room proportions. You choose the finish from white gloss, black gloss, parquet, LED starlit, mirror tile, or custom pattern, and confirm any add-ons.

03
Installation

We arrive during the venue’s setup window. Protective underlay is laid first, panels are interlocked and leveled, edge ramps are secured on all sides, and the surface is cleaned and inspected before guests arrive.

04
Removal & venue clearance

After the event, our crew disassembles and removes the floor entirely, leaving the venue surface in the same condition as before installation. Most teardowns are completed within 60 to 90 minutes of event end.

Six finishes for every aesthetic

White Gloss
The most-requested finish for a wedding dance floor in Southern California. A high-gloss white surface that reflects uplighting and photographs cleanly against any décor palette.
High-gloss Reflective Most popular
Black Gloss
A deep, high-gloss black surface that makes colored uplighting and moving heads pop dramatically off the floor. Bold, contemporary, and striking in photography.
High-gloss Light-enhancing Bold aesthetic
Parquet Oak
A warm natural oak parquet finish for events that call for a timeless, organic aesthetic. Pairs effortlessly with candlelit receptions, garden venues, and floral-forward design schemes.
Warm oak tone Matte finish Classic look
LED Starlit
Thousands of embedded LED points beneath frosted acrylic panels. Programmable to hold a static glow or pulse to the music. The most dramatic floor option available for SoCal weddings.
Programmable RGB Static or pulse Frosted acrylic
Mirror Tile
Fully mirrored surface panels that multiply every light source in the room, reflecting chandeliers, uplights, and candles beneath your guests’ feet. Unforgettable in photographs and on video.
Full mirror Light-multiplying Photo-dramatic
Custom Pattern
Black-and-white checkerboard, herringbone, or bespoke inlay configurations. For couples who want the floor to be a deliberate part of the event’s visual identity, not just a neutral surface.

What size do you need?

A floor that’s too small fills immediately and pushes guests off the edges. A floor that’s too large looks sparse all night and loses energy. The right size is determined by your guest count, not the venue’s square footage.

A standard planning rule is to size the floor for roughly 30 to 40% of your total guest count dancing simultaneously at peak. We factor in your guest profile, cultural background, the DJ’s set programming, and your venue’s room proportions to refine the recommendation. The sizes below are starting points, not hard limits.

Not sure what you need? Tell us your guest count and venue and we’ll size it for you.

Floor panel layout, illustrative
12×12
feet
Intimate receptions and smaller guest lists. Keeps energy concentrated so the floor feels full and active throughout the night rather than sparse.
Up to 50 guests
15×15
feet
A versatile mid-size option for most ballroom and banquet hall weddings. Comfortable for moderate dancing groups without excess empty space.
50 to 100 guests
18×18
feet
The most commonly requested size for mid-to-large weddings. Handles high-energy cultural receptions where extended family members all dance simultaneously.
100 to 150 guests
20×20
feet
Grand ballroom scale for large-format weddings and galas where the dance floor is the defining visual feature of the entire room layout.

Dance floor FAQ

Questions about surfaces, sizing, or how we work with your venue? Here’s what couples ask most often.

Ask Us Anything
How long does installation take, and when do you arrive?
Installation typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours depending on floor size and finish. We schedule arrival during the venue’s setup window and coordinate timing with your decorator so the floor is complete before florals and furniture are placed around it. Teardown at the end of the night takes 60 to 90 minutes.
Can the floor be installed on top of existing carpet?
Yes, in most cases. We assess carpet thickness and pile density during the venue review. For very thick or soft carpet, we recommend adding a rigid subfloor base layer beneath the underlay to keep the surface completely level and prevent any tile flex or movement under load during dancing.
Can we get a checkerboard or custom patterned floor?
Yes, this is included in our Signature and Premium packages. We offer alternating black-and-white checkerboard, herringbone, diamond grid, and other inlay configurations. Custom pattern floors require confirmation at least 2 to 3 weeks before the event date to allow for panel preparation and layout planning.
Is the LED starlit floor safe for heels and formal footwear?
Yes. The LED floor panels use frosted acrylic tiles rated for commercial event loads and are tested for stiletto heel use. The surface is non-slip even under normal dance conditions. We carry spare panels on every LED installation to handle any impact damage that may occur during the event.
Do you coordinate with the DJ on floor placement and sizing?
Always. When you book the dance floor alongside our DJ service, which most clients do, floor placement, speaker positioning, and stage orientation are planned together as a single room layout. The DJ’s subwoofer placement and the floor’s position are never designed independently when both services are under one booking.
What happens if a panel is damaged during the event?
We carry backup panels for every floor type on every installation, including spare LED tiles for starlit floor bookings. If a panel is damaged or becomes loose during the event, our team can replace it quickly without disrupting the event. Standard wear from dancing is expected and covered under the rental.
